What is KambojSamaj Matrimony?
KambojSamaj Matrimony is a dedicated matrimonial platform created exclusively for the Kamboj community. It is a community-run service that helps Kamboj families across India and abroad find verified and compatible life partners for their sons and daughters. Unlike commercial matrimony websites, this platform is built by the community for the community.
Is this website only for the Kamboj community?
Yes. KambojSamaj Matrimony is exclusively for members of the Kamboj Samaj community. All profiles are reviewed and approved by our admin team to ensure that only genuine Kamboj community members are listed on this platform.
Is this website free to use?
Yes, basic registration and profile creation are completely free. Free members can create a profile, upload photos, and appear in search results. To access premium features such as viewing contact details and sending unlimited interests, you will need to upgrade to a paid membership plan.
Registration and Profile
How do I register on KambojSamaj Matrimony?
To register, click on the Sign Up or Register button on the homepage. Enter your mobile number for OTP verification. After verification, fill in your personal details including name, date of birth, gender, religion, caste, education, and occupation. Submit the form and your profile will be reviewed and activated by our admin team.
Who can create a profile?
A profile can be created by the bride or groom themselves or by their parents, siblings, guardian, or relatives on their behalf. When registering, you will be asked to select who is creating the profile so that the information is filled correctly.
How long does it take for my profile to be approved?
Profile approval usually takes between 24 to 48 hours after registration. Our admin team reviews each profile manually before it is made live on the platform. You will be notified once your profile is approved.
Can I edit my profile after registration?
Yes. You can edit your profile details, update your photos, and make changes to your preferences at any time after logging in to your account.
Can I register on behalf of my son or daughter?
Yes. Many parents and family members register on behalf of their children. When filling the registration form, simply select Parents or Guardian in the Profile Created By field and fill in the details of the bride or groom, not your own personal details.
Can I have more than one profile?
No. Each individual is allowed only one profile on KambojSamaj Matrimony. Creating multiple accounts is against our terms and may result in all accounts being permanently deleted.
Search and Matches
How do I search for matches?
After logging in, you can use our search options including Basic Search, Advanced Search, Quick Search, Keyword Search, Location Search, and Occupation Search. You can filter profiles based on age, height, religion, caste, education, occupation, location, and more.
Why am I not seeing any search results?
If your search returns no results, try broadening your search criteria by reducing the number of filters applied. For example, remove the age range restriction or select a wider location. It is also possible that no profiles matching your exact criteria are currently available.
What are Preferred Matches?
Preferred Matches are profiles that closely match the partner preferences you have set in your account. The system automatically suggests these profiles based on your requirements.
What are Two Way Matches?
Two Way Matches are profiles where both members match each other's preferences. This means the other person is also looking for someone with your profile details. These are considered the most compatible matches.
Membership and Payment
What are the benefits of a paid membership?
Paid membership gives you access to premium features including viewing the full contact details of other members, sending unlimited expressions of interest, accessing horoscope details, priority profile listing, and more. Please visit the Membership Plans page for full details of each plan.
How do I upgrade my membership?
After logging in, go to the Membership Plans page. Select the plan that suits you best and proceed to payment. We accept payments through Razorpay, PayU, CCAvenue, and other secure payment gateways.
Is online payment safe on this website?
Yes. All payments are processed through trusted and certified payment gateways. Your card details and banking information are never stored on our servers. All transactions are secured with industry standard encryption.
Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied?
Membership fees are generally non-refundable once the plan is activated. However, if your payment was deducted but your membership was not activated due to a technical error, please contact us within 7 days with proof of payment and we will resolve it promptly. Privacy and Safety
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. Your personal information is protected and used only for the purpose of helping you find a suitable match. Your mobile number and email address are kept private and are only shared when you choose to exchange contact details with a specific member. We do not sell or share your data with any third party. Can other members see my mobile number?
No. Your mobile number is hidden by default and is only visible to members you choose to share it with or to members with an active paid membership plan, depending on your privacy settings.
How do I block a member?
If you do not wish to receive messages or interest from a particular member, you can block them from their profile page. Blocked members will not be able to view your profile or contact you.
How do I report a fake or suspicious profile?
If you come across a profile that appears fake, suspicious, or offensive, please report it immediately through the Contact Us page. Mention the profile ID or name and describe the issue. Our admin team will review and take action within 24 to 48 hours. Please also read our Report Misuse page for detailed guidance.
Photos and Horoscope
How many photos can I upload?
You can upload multiple photos to your profile. All photos are reviewed by our admin team before they are made visible to other members. Please upload only clear and genuine photos of yourself.
Is it mandatory to upload a photo?
It is not mandatory but we strongly recommend uploading a photo. Profiles with photos receive significantly more interest and responses compared to profiles without photos.
Is it mandatory to fill in horoscope details?
No. Horoscope details are optional. However, many Kamboj families consider horoscope matching an important part of the marriage process. We encourage you to fill in horoscope details as it helps increase the number of matches you receive.
Account and Login
I forgot my password. What should I do?
On the login page, click on Forgot Password. Enter your registered email address or mobile number. You will receive a link or OTP to reset your password. If you face any difficulty, contact us through the Contact Us page.
Can I log in using OTP instead of a password?
Yes. You can use the Login with OTP option on the login page to receive a one-time password on your registered mobile number and log in without entering your password.
How do I delete my account?
If you wish to delete your profile and all associated data, you can submit a deletion request through the Contact Us page or use the data deletion option in your account settings. Your account will be deleted within 7 working days.
What happens to my profile after I find a match?
Congratulations in advance. Once you have found your life partner through our platform, we encourage you to deactivate or delete your profile so that other members do not continue to send you interest requests. You are also welcome to share your success story with us so that we can inspire other members of our community.
